staff and volunteers

Umuigbo USA will operate with two staff members. A Governing Board, made up of community members and parents, provides overall leadership and direction of the organization's operations.

Further, as a non-profit organization, Umuigbo USA will utilize parents and grand parents in its pedagogical endeavors. In addition, we have also volunteers who are part of the community. Each volunteer will be expected to participate in a one-day orientation at the beginning of his or her work. This orientation will provide basic information on the program goals and our unique methods in second language teaching. Each volunteer will be expected to contribute 2-4 hours each month in our intensive classroom studies.
