Umuigbo USA gathers the youth together on a weekly basis on Saturdays. During this time we implement a structured program that is multi-faceted.

• There is a language component where the youth follow a curriculum to learn the Igbo language.
• Another section is the dance lessons where children learn traditional and contemporary dances that have enriching meanings.
• Folktales and proverbs are a important part of the culture and we utilize parents to convey these cultural stories and idioms to the youth.
• Songs are taught to the youth to convey the melodic and lyrical nature of Igbos. Songs indicate the beliefs, joy, religion, and history of the Igbos
